According to Kare 11 News, a woman was shot to death on Sunday March 28 in a park in Mankato, Minn. The woman was identified on Monday March 29 as Svetlana Vladimirovna Munt from Mankato.
The suspect, of Burnsville, Minn., is the victims ex-husband and is currently "being held on suspicion of second-degree murder".
Authorities believe that the suspect crashed his car into the victim's car, shot the woman, then carjacked another car to flee the area. The victim's car had three children in it, which were kidnapped by the suspect when he fled the scene in the carjacked car.
The case has been given to Blue Earth County's attorney's office for pending charges.
